Given an assignment quite literally two hours before their shift is over, The Masked Technician drags their feet out of the airlock, and attempts to fix a CommNode on Station 06. Wearing nothing but Casual Friday attire, no one was surprised or horrified that this entry-level technician could survive without regulation space suits. The Masked Technician is a composite creature, made of assumptions of what a human could be. This creature comes from a race of skilled shapeshifters who can take any form and have been an impeccable symbol of the perfect working alien in this human dominated galaxy. The Masked Technician was different however, took them longer to get things done, and if left at their own pace, can solve any problem. But under the stress of a screaming supervisor, broken links in a CommNode, and micro-meteors stinging the exposed parts of their human skin, they were not having a very enjoyable Friday, knowing that most of the evening would be dedicated to brushing up on quantum-density matrix functions just to understand the problem. Atleast the view from the station is wonderful to look at...
